Digital Technology is here to stay
As part of the Australian Curriculum, the teaching of the Digital Technologies area has become more formalised and there are great opportunities for richer teaching of what used to be known as IT, Information Technology, Computers, Programming, Robotics or Electronics in the past.
All of these flavours can be incorporated into a discrete subject - which could be called Digital Technologies - or they can be taught across the curriculum by teachers who can successfully integrate these requirements into their subjects.
That's what this site is all about - the starting point for an IT teacher in implementing the Australian Curriculum in a public school in northern Melbourne.
